ADVERTISEMENT FOR INVITINING CONSULTANTS TO WORK WITH ICAI ACCOUNTING RESEARCH FOUNDATION ON APPLIED RESEARCH PROJECT (Chennai)
ABOUT THE PROJECT
The Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation Ltd., is a Government of Tamil Nadu undertaking whose core activity is to procure, purchase, store, process, move and distribute the food grains and other essential commodities under public distribution system on behalf of Cooperation, Food and Consumer Protection department of the Government of Tamil Nadu. The turnover of the Corporation is in excess of Rs 8000 crores and has multi product, multi mode, multi-location operations in the State of Tamil Nadu. The operations of the corporation are managed by an in house ERP which enables a partly automated solution for managing the business of the enterprise.
The proposed solution to be offered shall include:
Understand and Map all existing business processes of TNSCSC
Identify key gaps and prepare a Should Be Process document
Present to management on an ideal ERP solution configuration for the above purpose
Prepare a Request for Proposal (RFP) document to enable the corporation to select a suitable vendor / consider in-house option to develop a comprehensive IT system
DETAILS OF OPENINGS & PROCEDURE
ICAI ARF invites applications from individual/team (for all three designations) of CA professionals, interested to be associated with it in its consultancy project to develop an Enterprise Wide Information Technology Solution for Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation Ltd. (TNCSC). This project demands exposure to / in areas such as extending support in designing financial modules, developing compliance management frameworks in an ERP environment.
The applicants are expected to hold requisite knowledge and work experience of the areas. Expected duration of the project is two to three months and the project need to be started at the earliest possible. For the TNCSC project, ICAI ARF has the following openings:

ICAI Accounting Research Foundation (ICAI ARF) was established in January, 1999, as a Section 25 company by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), as a core research body in the areas of accounting, auditing, capital markets, fiscal policies, monetary policies and other related disciplines.
