Borrowings
Borrowings usually take place only at head office of the bank. In case of exception there is a borrowing at few designated branches authorised in this behalf by the head office or other controlling authority either generally or specifically in respect of a particular borrowing. As such, this item generally does not figure in the balance sheets of most branches of the bank.
