Definition of custom port under custom law :

Custom Port : As per section 2(12) of the Customs Act, customs port means any port appointed under section 7(a) of the Customs Act, to be a customs port and includes a place appointed under section 7(aa) of the customs Act, to be an inland container depot (ICD).

Customs Airport under section 7(a) means any airport and includes a place appointed under section 7(aa) (w.e.f. 28-5-2012) to be an air freight station.
