DIGITAL ACCOUNTING AND ASSURANCE BOARD INVITES EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FROM RESOURCE PERSONS  :

Digital Accounting and Assurance Board (DAAB) of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is building digital competencies to ensure chartered accountants meet challenges and leverage opportunities of digital era. DAAB invites expression of Interest from members of the Institute and other experts for its following two important initiatives –

(i) DAAB of ICAI is launching Executive Development Program on “Blockchain Technology – Driver of Digital Era” and program structure is available at link https://resource.cdn.icai.org/50431daab40116.pdf . DAAB is creating a panel of faculties for taking sessions in the aforementioned Executive Development Program which would be organised at various locations in the country.

(ii) DAAB of ICAI has released “Digital Competency Maturity Model(DCMM) for Professional Accounting Firms – Version 1.0” which is a selfassessment tools, with an objective that the accounting firms can, irrespective of the size, assess the current level of digital competency and identify steps to move up the model and calibrate their functioning to the emerging context. DCMM is available at the link https://resource.cdn.icai.org/47921daab37895dcmm.pdf on ICAI website. DAAB is creating panel of faculties who will contribute in implementation of DCMM amongst accounting firms in India. This involves helping the firms in benchmarking the current level of digital maturity as per DCMM framework and thereafter guiding them on moving to the next level of maturity on DCMM Roadmap.

Preference would be given to the experts who have prior experience in delivering lectures, authoring articles/ books in the areas related to technology. Shortlisting will be done as per the process approved by the Board and shortlisted experts will be informed individually. Last date for sending expression of interest is June 22, 2018.
