Monthly return [ER-1]:
Every assessee shall submit to the Superintendent of Central Excise a monthly return of production and removal of goods and other relevant particulars electronically within 10 days after the close of the month to which the return relates. The return shall be filed in the prescribed Form (ER-1) [Rule 12(1)].
